Hi everybody,

I have problems finding the database belonging to my DNN 7.3.2

I have installed the portal locally using webmatrix3.
Is DNN using a database file only or can I browse the database with Management Studio?

 My problem is that I get a DB.Null exception when trying to browse the database with webmatrix.

And sorry for not being precisely. I need to find a method how to browse the database. I can find the database.mdf file but how do I open it?

Do I need to attach it in Management Studio? I am just afraid to destroy something as it is not so easy to "repair" an installation of DNN.

I guess I need more background information: Which instance of SQLServer should i use to browse the database. The engines that are available in SSMS do not show the engine with the DNN Database. As written before I have installed DNN using webmatrix "out of the box".
