Sorry yes I did read your post. I contacted the developer of the blog module and they indicated that it was not a issue with their module. I am lost now. Thanks again for replying to my post.

Sorry now I see your comment.  Yes they are both using the same URL format and DNN Version. It is the same DNN install, the site I am having problems with is the parent portal site. So it is using the same DNN install, same blog module extenstion, etc...

what happens, if you add a new post, does it get the proper URL format?
what, if you edit an imported post?

It does not matter if it is a new or edited post, the results are the same.

post specific URLs are created by the module, not the core framework. It might use a core method that fails, but this can only be evaluated by the developer.
