Hello,

I upgraded my DNN Website from 7.3.4 to 8.00.03. I am not abel to enter the Edit mode by clicking the "Edit this Page" and when trying to use Module-Add New Module. As mentioned in antoher post, I have checked my Desktop Modules table to see if there are any duplicates but there are not.

From Chrome Inspect , i receive a 404 not found for the path DesktopModules/internalservices/API/controlbar/ToggleUserMode/ToggleUserMode.aspx. I dont see this folder within my DNN folders.

If I switch to ribbon bar, it still doesn't function.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are there javascript errors on the page? (Use the browser's console to check.)

Use your browser's developer tools to see if the page is generating any javascript errors. If so, you'll have to fix those first.

When I first load a page, there are no errors. Once I click ON 'Edit This Page" i receive this.

I figured out the problem. It was caused by a rewrite rule for pages without .aspx.
