My company's site has a Press Release section, and we always add the standard company info at the bottom of the press releases. Rather than duplicate the content dozens of times, I would like to place a single module with the standard footer on all PR pages. I'm entering the content in the HTMLText module.

This works fine, except the footer then gets indexed and shows up in search results separately. What are my options to disable indexing for this piece of content? The entire site is public, and the module is currently set to inherit permissions from the parent page.

I notice there's a table called SearchItem. Maybe I could create a job that would run the command below? (Kinda kludgy.) Would I then have to mess with the SearchItemWord, SearchItemWordPosition, and SearchWord tables?

DELETE
FROM SearchItem
WHERE Title = 'Footer - Press Releases'

TIA,
John
