Hi All,
I started out with Metadot first, but am switching to DNN soon.
When reading comparisions and reviews, there are references to dashboard "My Yahoo" type features in DNN. However, I am not able to find the same feature discussed in the forums (I searched using keywords 'dashboard', 'My Yahoo' etc), and hence my post here.
Can anyone point me to a site which has implemented this feature, and can anyone suggest where I can read some more about this DNN feature and how to use it? Is there a thread somewhere?
Thanks very much.

Thanks for the link.

The feeling that I got when I visited their page was that it was more like a work-in-progress module thing. I will follow up with them.
Also, should I assume that DNN itself has no such feature, only stuf made by other people? When I re-read the feature listing on CMS matrix (http://www.cmsmatrix.org/general-discussion), it says that the "My Yahoo" type of module is available natively. I guess they missed that.

DNN has many beautiful features and I wanted to give it a try. One of my main requirement is, however, the 'My page' feature.

If anyone has tried this feature from other vendors like smart-thinker, please let me know. I have already spent 3 full days comparing features of Portals/CMS, and DNN seems to be the best for me, but I need to be convinced about this last feature!

Thanks very much!

Hello Liontape,

Hmm - it's definitely not a work-in-progress (it's been out for over a year now) - BUT I am working on some great enhancements and have been redesigning the site today - so possibly when you were looking there were a few things jumping around and pointing at the "Coming Soon" page.

The reason for this is that because I am releasing a new version tomorrow (which was waiting for the DNN 4.3.3 release) that has a Trial License so anyone can download it and try it (all Smart-Thinker modules will be updated to do this over the next 2 months). I've been preparing the site for this (hence the "Coming Soon" page, but the current version works great and I have had lots of positive feedback about it. Did you make your own page on Smart-Thinker to try it?

You can see the latest product page here (this is the format for each product as I update them) - but check back tomorrow for the latest version and the free trial download!

Certainly didn't mean to disparage your work :))
I am test driving it now. Great job, and thanks very much!
