When I create a new tab and place the login module on that tab and set that tab as login page in the site settings the welcome message contains a link that no longer works:

http://[Portal:URL]/default.aspx?ctl=Login&username=[Custom:0]&verificationcode=[User:VerificationCode]

even if I change it to:

http://[Portal:URL]/default.aspx?tabid=303&ctl=Login&username=[Custom:0]&verificationcode=[User:VerificationCode]

the Loginname and Verification code is stripped when I click on that link. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I am currently working on a custom login/registration process and noticed the same thing (DNN4.3.4).  I am so new to this I don't know what the correct situation should be when one puts the control on a custom tab, but for a module named "STISignin" on a page named "STISignin" the following format works: http://localhost/dotnetnuke434/STISignin/tabid/54/default.aspx?&username=wcf&verificationcode=0-7
I haven't yet figured out how to have my custom registration mod send this link nor in fact the verification code to the new registrant even though the code is created and works if I use it.
The letter gets sent , the verification code and url are missing.
