Hi

I am running DNN 3.3.3 on a single dedicated server with Win 2003 Standard SP1 and SQL Server 2005 SP1 Standard edition. the CPU usage on my machine seems to tank up 99% all the time. the hardware is P4 3.0 GHz HT, 1 GB RAM and 120 GB HDD.

All the time the usage is attributable to sqlserver.exe process. I had come to know about a hyperthreading problem with SQL Server 2005 (http://blogs.msdn.com/slavao/archive/2005/11/12/492119.aspxand hence have got hyperthreading deactivated on the server as well. For now i have caching disabled for the DNN Installation.

Any idea on what could be happening?

Additional Information via SQL Profiler: the highest consumption proc on the DB seems to be dbo.GetSchedule that has CPU of 13078 and Duration 31382. However, the server is running 100% even when this is not getting executed.

cheers

Abhishek
