After updating to 4.3.5 the file manager does not display the portal folders while being logged in as an Administrator.

No errors are logged so far.

Are there any hints?

Sebastian,

I just tried to snyc the folder structure with recurive switched on. But the result is just the same. The only folder displayed is the portal base folder.

When checking back the DB table, alle folders are listed correctly. Even the SQL query (catched with SQL Profiler)

exec dbo.GetFolders @PortalID=2,@FolderID=-1,@FolderPath=N''

returns the correct list of folders.

Most interestingly: The site hosts 5 DNN portals. The file manager of one portal displays the folder structure correct.

Thomas,

I am not sure, but I remember vaguely that I saw some strange portal dependency in one procedure, when I modified file system for synchronization a couple of weeks ago and fixed it. Hopefully this change makes its way into the core source for next version.

It's a new bug.  Eventhough the getfolder stored procedure is working, the code does not call it because of bad logic.  The work around at the moment without fixing the core that I've found is to edit the database table Folders, changing the field "LastUpdated"  so that the value listed is prior to the "modified" date of the portal folder (see this using your file explorer).

After modifying this value in the database, the file manager synchronization will then work properly (at least one time anyway).
