Have been stuck for 2 fu__ing days on this.

I can fill out the registrtation form but after submitting I get the error even though the user is added to the db

Using the latest version, 4.x... with VS.NET 2005 on the 2.0 platform. Running it locally on my pc while testing.

Obviously I am a newbie, but one that is about to give up on DNN

Ok, I figured it out... I feel like a nimrod for not paying attentiomn to the warning written in red on the welcome page where it says to enter a valid email for the admin and host user acct.  Seems that part of registration is sendng email to the amin/host, and if there is no valid email for such, the process can't complete and thus, an error message appears. Aslo need to configure SMPT correctly.
