Hi,

I'm new to DNN. Great product!
I want to know how I could change the overall site skin depending on the roles applied to the user.

For example:
User 1 belongs to Marketing dpt and should see a different background/layout to user 2 who is a publicly registered user.

Is this possible?
I am guessing you can do it by altering the source, but I first want to know if DNN inherently supports it out of the box.

Cheers,
Steven

No, DNN does not support this out of the box.

You assign skins to portals and pages, but not to roles.

Steven,

this is not possible by concept due to the fact, that a user can be assigned to multiple security roles - do you want to display a patchwork of skins for him?
