I'm totally lost because I don't see a scheduler anywhere on my site. Did I choose an incorrect installation or something (I used the starterkit) because I can't find the scheduler, its not on the admin tree, its not a module, I'm totally lost as to where it should be. Can someone direct me?

Regarding the schedule as I was reading in the book that the scheduler is only active when their are users on your site. Meaning that when no one is on your site the scheduler stops. I was wondering has anyone extended this to have an option where it runs constantly? Perhaps the demand isn't there but it would help me alot.

Couldn't you just set the cache timeout on the time to infinity so that it runs constantly or wouldn't that work?

Thanks !!!

you need to log in into your DNN installation using the host account, that has an additional host menu with settings, that affect all portals of the installation.

MailMan,

The scheduler is under the host menu.  As to your other question, their are modules that keeps your site alive.  You can search for them on snowcovered.com.
