You put the module on a hidden or protected page and you can then set what elements the DNN search returns.

The following is a text dump of the settings page checkboxs and text entry windows.
Enable DNN Search:
When checked, the non-admin modules on this portal will be made searchable within DNN search.
Enable Tab Name Search:
When checked, the tab names in this portal will be included within DNN search.
Enable Tab Title Search:
When checked, the tab titles in this portal will be included within DNN search.
Enable Tab Description Search:
When checked, the tab descriptions in this portal will be included within DNN search.
Enable Tab Key Words Search:
When checked, the tab key words in this portal will be included within DNN search.
Exclude Invisible Tabs:
When checked, exclude tabs marked as hidden.
Exclude Disabled Tabs:
When checked, exclude tabs marked as disabled
Enable Module Title Search:
When checked, the module titles in this portal will be included within DNN search
Enable Module Header Search:
When checked, the module headers in this portal will be included within DNN search.Enable Module Footer Search:
When checked, the module footers in this portal will be included within DNN search.
Enable Text/HTML Module Search Summary Search:
When checked, the Text/HTML Modules' Search Summary field in this portal will be included within DNN search.
Exclude Module Types:
To exclude specific module types trom search, enter module Friendly names delimited by ";".
Exclude Module IDs:
To exclude specific module IDs trom search, enter module numbers delimited by ";".
Exclude Tab IDs:
