  • Can the core DNN search be used on a portal to search the whole site and then this module be used along side so that it only searches pages within a specific section? e.g if I had a 'Manual' section, it would only search it's sub-pages.

no, there is only a single search index table for an installation, that does not allow such an attribute

Does it work with DNN 3.2.2?

AFAIK yes

Hi, Does anyone use this module that could answer these questions? I've looked on the modules site and I can't find anything that answers these questions.

Not sure what your use case is exactly, or why you need this specific functionality. You might want to have a look at the NewsArticle module by Ventrian (www.ventrian.com), that has its own search and allows searching by dnn, comes with categories, rss etc etc

Hi

I'me setting up a sub section within a depertments section on an intranet and it has a about 50 pages. The pages will be hidden fromt he normal DNN navigation so that the experience the user gets is very confined within the subsection. A distinctive custom navigation menu has been built and I'd like to provide search specific to the section.

I know this is an old thread but, were you ever able to figure out a solution for this?
