Has anyone implemented the housemenu with images? Could someone offer some pointers and where to begin, i already have the housemenu showing the page names but need to apply images to the menu now.

We have used it a few times, It is a great module, but the only way to add image is via css. It would be global though.

I assume you want each tab to show a differnet image. This can be done with a Java Script if you know the tab ids.

I have not done it though so may be someone else can show you the JS file for this

do you have any sample css code? What i don't understand is how to associate an image to a tab when the menu is created...how are the links associated with the menu images? Do i just need to determine what ids the menu items are being generated as and then create my css around that?

If you pick up the free skin in my site and study the menu section of the skin.css, you will see how the background image is added there.

I use page icons to do stuff like this, it works great, and it's not hardcoded.
Include: ShowPageIcons="True" in your Housemenu def. in the skin and just add images as a page icon.
