Is there a ticker type scrolling module out there where I can have text announcements going from right to left along the screen. I tried the "Banners" and "Media" modules but they dont seem to support just a plain text format. I have seen it before on a DNN 3.x site where there were revolving images that kept getting swapped. I need a module so that my client can update it rather than having to hard code a flash into the page. I just need text rolling from one side of the screen to the other where a client can update it.

If you simply want a running text, just add these codes into the HTML (or Source) text box :

<marquee> Your Text Here </marquee>

You can also try Data Spring News Ticker. It's not free but I think the price is quite reasonable.

And there's a free one too (not actually a independent news ticker; it only pulls messages from the core Announcement module and adds scrolling effects to them). Click here to see the module.

Hi,

We have a product called digRotate.  It doesn't do a marqueue, but it will rotate text/html, and it would be easy for an end user to maintain.
