I have a site that looks great in firefox, the table width works, but in IE I get a scroll bar. I cannot figure out what the deal is. The site URL is

http://www.academygamers.com/

The table width is handled thru CSS (I tried using min-width as well)

.table{ width:898px; min-width:898px; border-left:1px #ADADAD solid; border-right:1px #ADADAD solid; border-bottom:3px #ADADAD solid; background-color:#FFFFFF;}

Can someone help me with what I did wrong? Thanks!

Hi

First I see a horizontal scrollbar in IE and FF (1024*768).
This depends on the width of the screen.

When you put some content in the different panes then you had to you realise that they have a width.
In the leftpane... you have images: with of 468 px...
In the middleplane ... your have images with a with of 468 px...
In the rightpane... you have also images with a with of 468px...

What do you think? What could be the reason?

my left, content, and right pane all have width definitions, Firefox reads these correctly, IE does not. How can I get IE to read the width correctly?

It's as Gilbert has pointed out:
You have full-size banner adverts in each column that stretch the page out. Looks just about the same in Firefox as well, apart from one on them slipping in underneaththe other a little tighter. When I delete the banners, the page fits.
