I want to increase the overall font size for all of the text on the site. Is there a place to do this globally? How do I get it to work?

I have tried adding it to the container master class and also the skin master class, which is what I would do if it were a normal css site but that doesn't seem to do any thing.

Also, how can I customize the h1, h2, h3 etc. settings?

Thanks so much for some guidance.

skin.css that comes with the skin you are using is the place to put your styles into. There are three levels of CSS in DNN - default, portal and skin (also containter and module) in addition to normal hierarchy of styles - external, page and inline. DNN doesn't have any special rules for styles to be applied, but if you are not careful with the hierarchy of these styles... your changes are not going to work.

I have the same question so I'm glad to see somebody else asked it first.

So if I've already uploaded the skin package, do I simply modify the skin.css on my local machine and use the DNN upload skin utility and re-upload the skin package again? Or am I supposed to figure out which folder it's in on the network and ftp it to that spot?

Or is there some utility that allows me to change it on the DNN interface itself?

The answer is all of the above. You can re-upload your skin (dangerous, though - you may excidentally overwrite some other changes you had...), you can FTP the CSS file - it's in /Portals/Skins/whateverthenameofyourskin... (or, possibly, in a futher subfolder) or, if you uploaded your skin under Host, it's in _default/Skins/whatever..., and, finally, you can redefine styles in portal.css as this file get's loaded last (after default.css and skin.css)
