Hi all,

I am looking all over the place, but I can't find any documentation about how I can actually use the <dnn:NAV> control.

The problem is that I am porting an existing website to DNN. In my "old" website, I am using this code for a menu:

<div id="mainMenu">
  <ul>
    <li>Menu item 1</li>
    <li class="splitter" />
    <li>Menu item 2</li>
  </ul>
</div>

Is such a menu layout (html code generation) possible with the dnn:NAV or dnn:MENU controls? Also, where can I get detailed information about what is possible in the skin files? Currently, I am porting the existing skins, but I want to know if I can include the name of the portal in my template.

Best regards,

If you want an unordered list at the moment you will have to use an alternative menu component.

Like Housemenu

Thank you both for your replies! The information to the portal information is really helpful!

When reading articles about the House of Nuke menu, it seems very promising. However, the website is not working. I read some more articles that the site is down. Is the site down for maintenance or is this some kind of server problem?

Best regards,

Geert van Horrik

It's a server problem. The host made a DNS change that somehow nuked houseofnuke.com! I am definitely working on getting it fixed.
