Is there a way I can set the container alignement for admin containers?

I have a default admin container set for a portal. Although a module may have it's alignment set to left, the admin container always seems to align centre - which just looks a mess on most admin screens.

My content pane class in the container is:

(div id="contentpane" runat="server" class="bd")

In the page source the DNNAligncenter class is added

(div id="dnn_ctr1103_contentpane" class="bd DNNAligncenter")

I don't see any settings to override the addition of this class or to set it to the left align class.

Is there a way of doing this without adding a DNNAligncenter class with an align left to my container or skin?

I'm running 4.7.0

I am having the exact problem everytime I work on projects for our clients.
Maybe somebody have a better explaination why DotNetNuke needs to add a class called "DNNAligncenter" everytime where we have a pane (in setting pages)?

The fix for it without overriding to the DNNAligncenter class is to set your table or table cell to left-align.

What I usually do is go to your main container that wraps around the site, specify left-align for the table or table cell, it should solve the problem.
Unless somebody has a better fix, please share.

i.e.   #mainConatiner td {text-align: left;}

I am using a CSS entry in my skin.css of:

.Settings

td

{

 

}

text-align:left;

This seems to take care of left-aligning the majority of Admin screens.

lol I will pretend to be Timo, If I remember correctly you can set #body to text-align left and it will resolve it for all your problems where DNNalign comes into play.

Note there is a body and a #body they are very different in what they control.

Did I get it right Timo? lol

The injecting of DNNAlign center is an annoyance for me also. It seems like there has been no change request made in Gemini however. I added one today:

DNNP-10566 Bug Minor Skinning

Stop adding "DNNAligncenter" class when Admin skin loaded 

If you have comments to make, please make them in the Gemini ticket.
