Hi

I'm making a module for a DotNetNuke website, this module has a load of controls with a lot of navigation between them.

The main thing I notice is that the skin jumps back to some sort of default skin, I have no idea what setting, instead of just maintaining the skin that the page was using first. After a lot of searching, I found I could just pass along a SkinSrc and a ContainerSrc querystring parameter to make sure it does what I want.

Now, my boss is asking me not to use those parameters, because he doesn't want to expose that information. We were already looking into replacing those parameters because it was too much of a hassle.

I'm using 4.7.x at the moment. Is there any way around this?

Thanks

- Varcour

Mm ive seen seen this behavious when i did master detail module displays and the weird dnn behavious of showing detail pages as edit skins.

The best option is to have the master detail  whatever page as one module, so you have one main module and based on what you click you load either list.ascx control or detail.ascx  o whatever.ascx control. So donty mess around with the dnn way and run into this annoying edit skin screen use one view module and load all your ascx  controls in there
