Does anyone know how to add the text size control that www.dotnetnuke.com has in their header? (Three A's)

Is it a skin object? A module?

There are a few skin objects available that will do that. It's basically just CSS overriding classes based on the requested link.

I'll see if I can't get someone who knows which controls offer this support to reply in the morning.

I will just add that I have bought 4 copies of XFlex.

Be aware that it is skin object and not a module.

It has the nice by product of not allowing editors to change font size and thus change site font styles.

Actually, given that most countries have some kind of  "disablity discrimination" law that applies to websites this feature would be a good addition to dnn default skins.
That said i can see how that would complicate things. Could be an option though.

xflex so far is the only product I have found which actually does  text re-sizing via "button/image" correctly. Most of this javascript text size widget stuff really just breaks down compliance's. xflex does a nice job about keeping changing the CSS being used and not the skin. IE you don't need a skin for each option, and they keep with percentage based fonts which are key to compatiablity. The only thing I really wish they had did a bit different was to have used <div> tags instead of table structure for the controls. It does get to be a bit of a pocket book pincher though. Keep in mind that if you just use percentage based fonts your users can use their browser to increase / decrease the fonts, even if they use Internet Explorer, granted its not a cute little "size" bar, but it's the new trend over javascript text widgets that use static font styles.
