I have for the past few days been trying to create a graphical Tabbed menu.  Meaning, I'm using the "LeftSeparator" and "RightSeparator" giving them a left and right tab image, plus setting a background in the menuItem for the Tab Filler.

HOWEVER, my issue is with the center part of the menu items, it appears to pad the cell by 1px on top and bottom (as seen in my example link below)

http://theehlebrachts.com/dnn_error.gif

The graphics are all the right size, however the middle of the menu tab is 1px padded on top and bottom (noted by the red color).

I have tried playing with every CSS style associated with the menu, setting height's, padding, margins, alignment, and cannot get it to go away.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?  Thx in advance for your time.

Have a look at Jon Hennings tabbed skin on www.solpart.com, Most of the commercial skins using tabbed style menu are borrowing from this free skin.

Thank you so much!  I tried the skin, didn't do what I wanted, BUT after a long good look at the skin.css, I tried a few things out chaning some of the values in the classes mainly "border-left/right/top/bottom: transparent 0px solid;" on one or more of the styles it did exactly what I needed.  Those particular things removed the unwanted gap that kept coming up.  Something I hadn't tried.  Was exactly what I was looking for.  Thanks a bunch!
