Anyone seen anything like this?

We're developing some new skins for a portion of our site beginning with the DNN Blue skins. The problem is that pages that were previously created, some as recently as a couple of days ago, render one way under the newly developed skins, while pages created today render differently. Basically, we get a large gap between the Solpart menu (horizontal) and the top of the first module. What's weird is, new pages have it, old won't don't.

Comparing the code for two pages, each using the same skins, shows that the order or the Solpart menu is different between the two skins. We have no idea why this would be as the skins work fine except for this gap on the page with newer pages. But newer pages generate a different code than older pages! What is happening? And since the gap doesn't appear to be caused by the HTML, how can I eliminate it?

Here is the code DNN generates for New pages and Old pages. Notice the order of the span declarations around the solpart menu. Both pages have the same skins. We've tried first creating pages set to the old skins, then switching them to the new, but we still get the same result. Cache has been cleared, etc. What the heck is happening and why? Why is it only showing up on older pages?

The only difference we see in code is here, where the span declarations follow the Solpart menu. Is this important?

Here is the code generated by the older pages. Note how the span declarations are above the solpart menu declaration. Can this be causing the problem and why is it happening one way on older pages and another on newer.. both pages using the same skin? Note, the page below will be higher and closer to the menu despite a small spacer gif inserted above the module. There is no reason for the other page to have a big gap and it doesn't show up in the HTML design in Frontpage. It must be caused by the javascript somehow.
