Am I the only one who is having this problem or am I the only idiot? Don't answer that! Answer this. How can I change the help.gif (the lovely blue question mark image) that appears in many of the core modules to indicate help. I tried to upload an new help.gif file by creating a images folder in both my Host and Admin root hoping that it would override the default gif but that did not work. Can I specify the gif file in the skin.css and if so what exactly do I need to add to the css. I am using a hosted service. Mr. Sam Tenner do you maybe have some advice for me again? Thanks

Are you on a shared server? It can only be changed via ftp. If you replace the image in the images/ directory - it's the help.gif and sometimes I change to a lowercase i for information, and on some.. i use a 1px X 1px clear gif to remove altogether.

Yes. I'm with GoDaddy. What if I download the module that was pre-installed and make changes there to have it point to the right image then upload the replacement module to my site? If that is feasible, what changes would I need to make in the module zip file? Do I add a module.css? If this can be done, what exactly would I need to write to make it work?

No I'm sorry it doesn't work like that - it's not a module - it is part of DotNetNuke and in the main folder - under images.  So the only way you can change is to use FTP to upload a new image and overwrite the existing one.

I know the file is not part of the module but couldn't the module be modified to not even look for that image file? So now I'm not talking about replacement of the image but omittance or redirection to a completely alternate image. I am on with godaddy now trying to find out if I can somehow access the main image folder. Thanks for the feedback thus far.
