Is there a way to have both a horizontal and vertical menu in the same portal?

You can try to start your own 'Skinning experiments' with this Post:

I'm sure there are ways to do this by writing some code and building into your skin.

The other way to do it is there are several 3rd party menu modules that allow you to do it.  I use The DNN Menu module because it also has a nice online built in editor. This module uses profiles - so you can have a horizontal menu using one profile and a vertical menu with a different profile assigned to it on the same page.

Thanks guys for reply,

I tryed the module DNNslidemeny and its a good one but I need it to follow all pages with the styling I done in it.

Do you know how it works when you can us a module as a skinobject? does that meens that It works in the skin as ex. the "left pane" in (templatepage)?

And if so, how kan I change for example the "left pane" to be the Dnnslidemenu and works in (skin) templatepage?

regards nenne

I use CISS.Sidemenu as both module and skinobject in left pane, the good thing is that CSS and XHTML. Stay away from default DNN NAV until a javascript bug with IE8 get solved. (Please see dotnetnuke.com in IE8, the sub menus doesn't close when hovering)
