Hi, I am currently building a site in DNN5, I am having a slight problem though. When ever I click 'back' using either the brower button or the back button on my mouse, the menu is disappearing, can anyone tell me how I can fix this??

Thanks you,

James

For a while I noticed the same problem. After reading your post I went and checked my development sites and they no longer have that problem.  Since I didn't really pay much attention to this problem, I don't know if it was specific to 5.0.0 as I'm on 5.0.1 now.

Sure enough it just happened again.  Now I'm using 5.0.1 and Chrome, that's how it's failing. With IE7, it works just fine. The reason I didn't see the problem for a while is because I was using IE7 mostly (Chrome just doesn't seem well liked by DNN). I tested Safari, Firefox, IE6, IE7 and Chrome.  Safari and Chrome have the problem, all others (including IE) work OK.

Hi just re visiting this problem,

I was just wondering if there is any solution for it at all? Im trying to push the site live, but everytime you try to go back the meny disappears, so users wont be able to navigate anywhere.

Thanks

James

Which menu are you using

Do you have any issues whereby you often have to double click action buttons (in order to navigate or do something)?
When you edit text/html editor does it default in text only mode rather than rich text mode?

Thanks

Alex Shirley
