YAML released a new version a few weeks ago with some amazing new features. The DNN-YAML Base Skin is already updated to the newest version - CHECK IT OUT: http://yaml.dnn.ch/

Now there's an official DotNetNuke Forum on the YAML website in English and in German to provide a better support:

DotNetNuke-YAML Forum German
DotNetNuke-YAML Forum English

I'm sorry to say that the DNN YAML tutorial is outdated, but even was incomplete when it was written. (That raises the question if the comparison between YUI, 960, Blueprint & YAML is still valid.)

I started out yesterday evening and continued this morning, but I'm getting al sorts of error messages. (The last one being: "Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/_default/Skins/YAML_Basic/My_Layout.ascx, Error: Unable to cast object of type 'ASP.portals__default_skins_yaml_basic_my_layout_ascx' to type 'DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin'.")

I'm giving up on YAML and might try 960.

What to my mind is missing in the comparison (table) is the version number used at the time of comparing the frameworks.
