Thanks for the explanation

I think I will try out YAML on my next Project.

Can you set with YAML also the styles like "Heading1" in a standard WYSIWYG editor?

This depends on your html editor, but usually you can choose a custom stylesheet for the WYSIWYG. We use the Telerik Rad Editor and choose the content.css of yaml as WYSIWYG stylesheet.

Please tell me how your first project with YAML was.

Tipp: Use our yaml skin as base and create the skin according to the tutorial: http://yaml.dnn.ch/Tutorial/tabid/126/language/en-US/Default.aspx

Hey that is a great tutorial you've made.

I was very fast to setup a standard website based on YAML.

All in all it tooks me only about 1.5 hours to implement an individual design on the website - that's much faster than before with tables and it's much more user friendly because of the liquid layout type.

Thank's for all!

Vali

How does it work with 4.9.x installations, particularly with Solpart / DNNNav? From what I could tell, the linked site is running 5.

Edit: had time to read it over, looks very promising!

You mentioned on your site that Blurprint is by Google. It's not.

I don't believe YAML is a grid based based css framework like Blueprint or 960.gs. I think YAML is more about page layout type (fluid vs static vs liquid) while the others are more about positioning of elements on a web page where class names refer to column numbers in the grid. They make it easy to align elements, like div's, vertically.
