I went ahead and purchased it as well, the Containers (Articles/Blocks) still need work, but overall it's a great boost allowing me to punch out a general design that I can then go in and tweak out with CSS / SkinObjects / Modules.

We started using this about 3 weeks ago.  I made a skin and then we reviewed all the pieces to look at how it was assembled, then tweaked it adding things we wanted the program didn't allow.  Spent about 2 weeks doing that.  Since then have built about 5 beautiful skins and copied and pasted our modifications into them.  It took less than an hour apiece to make them.

I agree, great product for the limited time it has been out.  Some minor issues with containers.  And they need vertical menus and the ability to add additional code or options from iwthin the program.

If you want to do 'artisteer' style skins, it works fine, but if you need something different you need tweaking. At this point, the flexibility of the tool is insufficient for custom work. That being said, i think this tool can be a valuable addition to one's toolbox.

I don't know that it's insufficient in as much as it requires enough custom work that the advantage of using it is lost.  But, for a new product, they are definitely on the right track.  Though I think the skin styles will all be pretty generic for those who use this.

One other observation -- This is really the only option if you need to release a Joomla and DNN skin.  I've seen a few sites that have integrated Joomla/Drupal with DNN, and this is a decent option to skin them alike.
