I've been using Artisteer for about a year now. Very impressive tool and we've created close to 90 production sites to date, each customized for the client in very little time. Version 3.0 is in RC1 and it quite impressive as it resolves a number of DNN issues and adds in fluid, magazine and other layouts styles. It also support the core DNN menu and you can now prefix CSS with your own naming conventions (instead of art-)

Containers are still limited to two, as is only one skin output per export...but there are ways around that easily enough.

All in all it does what I want in a skinning tool:

1. Saves me time
2. Allows me to deliver my clients custom skins one an "off the rack" budget"
3. Creates good looking skins
4. Follows standard CSS tags (something lacking in many other DNN skins)
5. Constantly improves the tool-set
6. Inexpensive. At $150 USD it's saved me hundreds if not thousands in skin costs.

That said, as with any toolset, the more you learn how to use it the better the results. I think while the "suggest" features are nice, I find myself diving into the pixel level details more often than not. Fortunately the tool-set gets my 90% - 95% of the way and the last little bit is easy to implement (it doesn't support all of the skin objects so you end up coding those int on your own if you want them in the skin).

Here are few live example for those wondering what is possible:

I downloaded the trial version of Artisteer today and was very impressed. I made me a nice little skin, but I'm unable to get it to load. I keep getting this error message: Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/_default/skins/fnbmc_skin01/page-admin.ascx, Error: The file '/FNBMC/DesktopModules/ArtMenuSO/ArtMenuSO.ascx' does not exist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
