I played with it for a few minutes only and created a dnn skin from one of the built in templates. It didn't output any containers. Can the software create containers easily?

As a multi-year DNN veteran who has logged countless hours trolling SnowCovered, only to be under-whelmed by what I found, this tool is destined to rock my skinning world --- and I believe most of the DNN community.

After 5 minutes of using the demo version (2.3.0.21098 Standard Edition), this tool created a delightul looking skin with the greatest of ease.  (And I skipped over many of the advanced features, just to get some quick output.)  What a breath of fresh air to have this kind of tool available to the masses.  I plan to purchase it this weekend and spend a lot of quality time learning every option.

Part of the brilliance of this tool is its ability to suggest options.  Don't like the look of the offered skin?  Click "suggest" and the entire theme changes instantly.  Incredibly cool.

The fact that it handles Drupal, Wordpress and others is a true plus.  I'm thrilled to have DNN included with a design tool of this caliber.  So many times DNN has been left out in the cold.  Glad we have a place at the table!

As have others, I have encountered a couple of bugs related to images -- seems like there are some path issues in the containers.  But it seems like the developer is pretty responsive, and it will be important to have our collective voices heard on their forum.

Very nice work by Artisteer, it seems, and I'll be following them very closely.

Update 1/4/2010 - Bought the tool the same day (after less than 2 hours of testing)!  And the bugs I mentioned above?  Developer fixed them all within 3 days.  Can't wait to see version 2.4!

Yes, although the containers seem to have an issue with image paths.

Update 1/4/2010 - Developer has fixed the container issues.

Hi folks,

Did anybody try to specify a position for Login/Register buttons in Artisteer? These two go beside the top menu (at the end of it) that makes them look...
