I'm not certain which forum this should go in but....

How do I change the text for the login/logout link to read 'Staff Login' or 'Staff Logout' ?

Admin menu -> Languages -> Local Resources -> Desktop Modules -> Authentication Services -> DNN -> App_LocalResources -> Login.ascx and change the cmdLogin.Text to whatever you want.

Almost everything that appears as default text can be changed through the Language editor.

Jeff.

You don't even need to go as far as that... i.e. changing the control. You can do this in your skin (.ascx) file. Like so:

 <dnn:LOGIN runat="server" id="dnnLOGIN" text="CMS Login - Powered by DNN ®" logofftext="Logout of DotNetNuke CMS" cssclass="login_control" />

You simply add the "text" and "logofftext" parameters to you LOGIN control.

Works for me.

Jon, please be aware, that this is not preferred option for adjustment, because it does not support localization and needs to be re-added for any skin applied. Modifying the language files as pointed out by Jetf doesn't have these disadvantages.
