I installed the wrong skin and container.  I now want to remove them completely from my site.  I  uninstalled them from host/extensions but they still show up in the skins list.  How do I remove them completely from my site?

If you can access the file system I would recommend deleting them from the following folders where they might show up

/portals/_default/skins

/portals/_default/containers

/portals/##/skins

/portals/##/containers

where ## are the IDs of your portals if you uploaded them to an individual portal instead of at the host (_default) level.

I installed them at the host level, thus I don't have a portals folder. The skins and container folder appear to be empty.

Try checking under /portals/_default.

You can also try (after deleting from host>extensions) go to admin>skins, check the host skins list, and delete the skin there (make sure that no page or module uses that skin, even in pages/modules in the recycle bin).

My best,

What is the difference between deleting and uninstalling from the Host/Extensions? I did uninstall since I wanted it to be completely uninstalled from the cms. Did I select the wroing option?
