Hey all,

Currently using an html/text content pane to display an image link.  I have reservations about designers accidentally deleting the link, since there is no indication it exists when the editor is working in design view instead of html view.

What I would like to create is two panes, one inside the other, place the link in the outer pane and the image in the inner pane, so there's no way someone could delete/edit either piece of the puzzle without meaning to.

I tried nesting an html pane inside a links pane; got the following error:

Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/_default/Skins/anchortestSkin/skin2.ascx, Error: Type 'ASP.admin_skins_links_ascx' does not have a public property named 'div'

I then tried nesting one text/html pane inside another; I don't get any error messages, but when I apply the skin, the dashboard "Add Module" option does not show the inner pane as a pane option.

Lost cause?  Any possible way to create this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Lila,

I cannot say I completely understand what you are attempting, but my instinct tells me to suggest you might explorer alternate ways to keep your image on the page.  Can you create a second module, maybe with no border and instantly get what you need, without any complex nesting?

You know that you can set permissions at module level?  Probably not what your designers want, but it is a worst case option.

any help?

Nesting panes is not supported, you may use multiple panes, multiple modules in same pane or move your image to the skin.
