I'm stumped.  I've got a skin using SolPart Menu and it's looking pretty much the way I want it to in Netscape and Firefox.  In those browsers, the submenu is displaying a tiled background, which is also displayed at the root, and there is no border appearing between the submenu items.

However in IE after mouseover the submenu items display a border which doesn't go away until the page is refreshed.  I suspect this might have something to do with the fact that the background is an image but I've spent a good deal of time on this thing and just can't see where the problem is.  Maybe it's not even possible to do this with SolPart Menu; all the examples I'm finding have backgrounds of a solid color, not an image background for the submenu.

You can see the work here:  http://www.kennethjonesassociates.com

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Shane

it's one of the classes in the css. I would review them.

I don't think it's that simple.  I've reviewed them many times.

Hey cc24x7, did you try at least? In DNN-Blue there's this one. Post the classes for the menu and I'll take a look.

.MainMenu_MenuItem {
 border-left: #cad5ea 0px solid;
 border-bottom: #cad5ea 1px solid;
 border-top: #cad5ea 1px solid;
 border-right: #cad5ea 0px solid;
 cursor: pointer;
 cursor: hand;
 color: #000000;
 font-size: 9pt;
 font-weight: bold;
 font-style: normal;
 background-color: Transparent;
 font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica;
}

default.css in Portals/_default/ has this class which I think could be what you need to override in your skin:

.ModuleTitle_MenuBreak {
 border-bottom: #EEEEEE 1px solid;
 border-left: #EEEEEE 0px solid;
 border-top: #EEEEEE 1px solid;
 border-right: #EEEEEE 0px solid;
 background-color: #EEEEEE;
 height: 1px;
}
