When using the DNNNav custom setting to render as an unordered list, is it possible to also use menu separators or are you then stuck with simple css block style menu with only the containing li to style?  I'd like to insert menu separators inside the li tag and wondering if anyone has done this?

Tried adding left and right separators and with the unordered list, they were just ignored. That really limits what you can do with this option in terms of design and most likely won't be used much as is, at least not by me.
