Hi,

You can override all of the CSS elements by adding your style to the Stylesheet Editor which can be found at the bottom of the Admin > Site Settings page, this updates the Portal.css file which loads last.

To target the Search controls, inspect the element, either by viewing the source code or using the Firebug plugin in Firefox, and identify the wrapping element of the control and it's id or CSS class, you can then use this to re-style the search control.

If you have the skin in action, include a link and I'll outline the selector to use.

Regards,

Rick.
