Hi Folks,

I have a strange issue with a skin. It’s possibly another one of those broken cookie deals I guess. But I know how to get around that issue. However in this situation when I log out as a host or admin on one of my sites the minimized control panel is still visible. I tried clearing the cash, closing the browser and even rebooting but it will not go away. I also ran a registry cleaner and optimizer still the problem persists. Not only that but it is only on the home page! It appears in IE, Firefox and Chrome on two different desktops.

This is really sort of bizarre. Any clue as to why this would happen?

You should check the permissions on the Home page, and all of the modules on the home page. You likely have edit permissions for "all users" defined somewhere

Thanks Chris. A couple of people were working on this including me and someone accidentally had a module with edit mode checked that they added about the same time I added another module. We always just let modules inherit from the page and I didn't check the other modules on the page. Never assume anything, right?!!!
