I just built my first DNN site: www.harmotion.com

I have three problems all relating to skinning...

1) Where do I separate the containers in the same pane? I want to leave a bit of room between them so they don't look all squished together.

2) I built my site using Firefox to check if it looked correct. After I was done, I found out my site is totally mess up on IE, what can I do? I know if I change anything to make it look right in IE, the spacing won't look the same on Firefox anymore.

3) I currently use a different skin for my "Community/Forum" page. When posting a new thread, the text edit box page uses the default skin...what can I do to keep the same skin as in the Community/Forum page?

Last of all, my site loads really slowly...what can i do to speed it up?

Dear echan00

So much questions in one tread... I think it is better that you post in one tread one question, that's better to answer them.
First question.
You can make a container with no head, no paddings and margins set in the contentpane... and put there a few blanco lines in it.
Or, you can use a container put there some blanco lines in it ( and in the settings you set display container off). Of course the content of the container can have paddings or margins...
Second question
Always test your skin and containers both in IE and FF.
Third question
Set your desired skin as the default skin of the portal.
Hope this will help.

1) Build some padding into the containers. Or add some line breaks.after each container. Look at the DNN containers to learn more.

2) Can you describe what is not working at least?

3) Set the admin skin to your skin in Portal Settings.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
