Hi everyone

I've been looking for a solution to this problem all day, with no luck.

What I need is a simple "back" button, that allows a user on a sub-page to return to the parent page.

Note that what I need is a link to the parent of the current page, not something with browser history, since the user could come from another page entirely. It should be so simple to add this that I have a hard time figuring out where I missed it. I've mainly looked at a solution with the dnn menu system, but anything that dynamically can find the name of the parent tab and link to it would be great.

Kind Regards
Rune

Assuming the page you have come to is in the menu system then the BreadCrumbs should have that link.

If you want somthing more sopisticated then look in the Breadcrumb skin object for some code hints.

Thanks :)

Could you possibly link me to the documentation for the breadcrumbs? I have a hard time finding any documentation on the whole menu & skin token system.

I didn't use any docs.

If you d/l the source then it's in Website\admin\skins\Breadcrumbs.ascx and the matching .cs

(Actually I think it's there even if you don't d/l the full source package.)

Best wishes,
