Mark,

When you click the link on the right for My Profile, do you then get an Edit Profile option on the left under the Member Picture?

Hmm, according to source, the CSS is the culprit here

_ViewProfile_profileOutput" style="display:none

display: none removes the element completely from the document. It does not take up any space, even though the HTML for it is still in the source code.

Hi Bill... thanks for the analysis and response.... How do I go about fixing this problem (it sounds like a straightford skin modification???)... excuse my lack of knowledge.... what file and part should I edit to bring editing profile fields back into play for registered users.... Thanks in advance... Cheers Mark.

Mark,

Logged in as a SuperUser, view your own profile and Click the Manage button, choose Settings then View Profile Settings.

Take a copy of what is originally in there because once you click the link top right to load defaults that info is gone for good.

I had to manipulate the module back into the ProfileContentPane after doing that.
