Hi Bill... thanks for the input...

I think I have made SOME progress I think.. I followed the instructions and can now click on the links etc. in the right margin but the thumbnail and edit profile links do not appear thereafter even though it is posting back for something....Logon as DemoUser, UserDemo to see.... if you want to email me at nonstopmark@gmail.com, I can send you the HOST logon to see if I've missed a step.... cheers Bill, Mark.

I tracked this to some missing code in the ViewProfile.ascx file on Mark's site. Not at all sure how that bit of code was stripped out - but although it was correct javascript it looked to a VB/C# programmer as though some extra code had been stuffed into the name of a function and would not parse.

The missing code meant there was no javascript produced Profile info reaching the page, and the missing profile data was causing CSS to hide the Edit Profile link. Like a boulder rolling downhill.

did you compare file dates, maybe the file did not get replaced properly during an upgrade.
