All,

I need a completely blank skin. Just a contentpane and nothing else. Not even the admin/host menu atop the page.

I tried to create one but the top horizontal admin/host menu appears.

This is the only line of code I have in it other than a contentpane:

< % @ Control language = " vb " AutoEventWireup = " false " Explicit = " True " Inherits = " DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin " % >

Am I missing something?

Hi Mark and Mike,

There is a trick you can use to hide the control panel on DNN7:

1 - Create another .CSS file under your skin folder. Lets call it "hide-control-panel.css";

2 - Add the following to it:

#ControlBar_ControlPanel { 
display:none
}

#Form.showControlBar {
margin-top: 0px !important;
}

3 - On your skin file add the following line to the top:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" Namespace="DotNetNuke.Web.Client.ClientResourceManagement" Assembly="DotNetNuke.Web.Client" %>
<dnn:DnnCssInclude ID="DnnCssInclude1" runat="server" FilePath="hide-control-panel.css" PathNameAlias="SkinPath" Priority="1000"/>

This will hide the control panel. I have tried it myself.

Note: Not sure whether the forum editor here will display the code correctly or not, but let's see.
