Just upgraded to 4.3.3.
Host is Win'03,
.net v.2.0.50727.42
db is MS SQL 2000

For accessability reasons I use DROPDOWNACTIONS for my module containers.

Now that I've installed 4.3.3 all DROPDOWNACTIONS menus show when I'm LOGGED OUT!
They are empty, but the show none the less.

Changing them to the SOLPARTACTIONS object fixes the problem and my action menus can longer be viewed while unauthenticated.

Bug or me?

What happens if you clear the cache?

Does it happen if you are using another computer or Firefox?

Thanks for the reply.

I cleared the DNN cache. I've viewed it in Firefox and IE on different computers.

The problems persists.

It's not ready for primetime and the skin needs much work so don't judge oh skinning guru, but the staged site is at: www.dera.saccounty.net/dnn.

On the home page the 'DERA' text module is in a container that uses the SOLPARTACTIONS objec.

Under the menu on the left, and again on the right of the page are modules that use the DROPDOWNACTIONS object.

I'm also seeing this issue with the dropdown actions, on a site just upgraded from 4.0.3 to 4.3.3. I've dropped 4.3.3 for now, as amongst other issues I couldn't login, it kept telling me my credentials were incorrect :/ Looking forward to 4.3.4.

Just in case someone else has this issue:

The problem is discussed in this thread

On page 3 Rob posted this (it looks like we need to register the skin object differently - though I haven't done it yet):

"... From what I can see, this works:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONS" Src="~/Admin/Containers/SolPartActions.ascx" %>
<dnn:ACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnACTIONS" ProviderName="DNNDropDownNavigationProvider" />

but this doesn't:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="DROPDOWNACTIONS" Src="~/Admin/Containers/DropDownActions.ascx" %>
<dnn:DROPDOWNACTIONS runat="server" id="dnnDROPDOWNACTIONS" />

Which implies that there may still be a problem in the codebehind for DropDownActions.ascx but there is at least a way that works to go forward. ..."
