What's up all,
  Couple things:
For some reason my "User" skin object does not display when the user is NOT logged in.  It should be displaying the "Register" text, but it is just not there, like visibility is set to false.  After the user is logged in it displays the "greeting" just fine.  Am missing something?

-Also, how are most people handling a custom navigation?  Meaning, not using the "Links" object?  Are they just hard-coding the URL with the tabID into the href?  Or should I start to create a custom module that will query the db for what I need?  Right now I am working on my dev server, but when I go to production all of the "tabID"(pageID) are going to be different so I am going to have to update the skin with the production IDs.  Kind of a pain!

Forget about both questions, I figured them out.

User Object: Didn't have User Registration set to "Public" in the site settings

Navigation: I will just make a content page where needed, add a Text/Html module and use it on all pages.
