Hello everyone

Is their a way where we simply replace our existing CSS file with a new one for a given project and changes are reflected throughout the project.

By throughout i mean from anything outside the modules to the modules themselves.

Moreover by using the new CSS i don't have to go to every module and apply the relevant CSS on it to see the changes.

In short we simply develop modules and don't apply css class name on every control html.

We simply place the css file in the directory and tell the module where it is.

I hope you do get my question.

BTW i'm newbie on this forum:)

Thanks

Eh...
Not sure if I understand.
You are asking what the central CSS file for a portal is?

You could use one .css for a few containers...
Give your container a specific ID
And set for some specific ID own .css styles...

Hello

Thanks guys for your input.

I'm using the default way of going about things.

I'm using seperate css for the container and css.

Thanks once again for input

Sorry, but it's not clear to me if you solved your problem or not.
If it's not, please give a more detailed description of your problem...

To me it seems you want a way to change the container skin of all the modules at once...
Is this correct?

The answere would be to apply the container skin to the site in Admin > site settings.
This skin will now be used for every container that doesn't have a container.css applied on the module level.
