Hi,

I have used the Search Input module on my homepage and used the Search Results module on a seperate hidden page and set the search settings to show its results in the hidden results page.
But whenever I try to do a search there are no results to display. I specifically search for products that I know are in my products menu.

Could some help me by telling me if I am going wrong somewhere or if there is any other settings that I need to set.

Thanks

Hi
DNN search can be bewildering.  I found out all I needed to know to solve my search problems at the excelent Ecktwos site.
http://ecktwo.eway.co.uk/

He also has a very useful free module to gain some control over how search works.

Hope this helps

Ian

Hi Houngha

Sorry not to respond earlier.

I am a bit confused now as the site I refferred you to is not mine - its Ecktwos's. Also its basic dnn so most dnn sites willl look like this at first run.

I am happy to help anyone (if I can) but I am unsure of what you are asking.

Betacam

Hi Betacam,

Thanks for your reply. At first, right after visiting your site (that is http://ecktwo.eway.co.uk/) I wanted to know how to succesfully install such a website like that. But I found it is more important that I should know how to customize DNN first, it means I should know how to create skin, distiguished pages based on DNN. I found some helpful documents and take steps and follow the instructions.

Show, please tell me how can I run the dotnetnuke.sln correctly since when I tried to open, there was an alert message that the reference were not found but I add it already from bin directory. Since then, please guide me how to use Solpart menu to buil vertical menu/

Thank you so much.

Yours sincerely,

HoangHa
