I'm trying to implement a couple of different UI related functions using the jQuery JavaScript framework, but it appears that there is some kind of conflict with using jQuery's $(...) function and DNN. Just curious if anyone else has run into this and if there is any other solution besides renaming all the $(...) calls in my jQuery scripts.

thanks,

Ok,

Looks like I have the answer to my own question.

If you read this posting in the DNN ClientAPI topic area, you will gain some more insight as to the issue with the $(...) function in DNN and 3rd party javascript frameworks.

Then.... for a quick, but less than ideal way to work around the issue with JQuery specifically, have a look at this link on the JQuery site:

http://jquery.com/docs/PrototypeAndJQuery/

Hope this helps others out there as well.

Please also refer to my comment postings with the Atlas team here for more background on the issue.

Glad that you found a work around.
