I created a skin that has CSS info embedded in the skin and one of the tags has a background-image property, but the url didn't get updated to the proper location when it was parsed. All the other IMG tags got updated. Do I have to extract this into a CSS to get this to properly updated?

If the skins are ascx skins, you can use <%=skinpath%> to reference the correct path

Are you doing HTML or ASCX skinning, like Eric suggests?

I'm doing HTML and was using the STYLE attribute of a <TR> tag, but after I pushed this into the CSS, the parser was able to properly update the URL. So not much of a big deal, but was a little annoying since all the other URL references were updated (maybe a bug?).

I only do ascx skinning, but I guess the parser updates the paths in the internal stylesheet and the paths for the HTML tags, not inline styles....
The skinning documentation states:
The Skin Uploader will manage the relative paths for the following HTML tags (
contained in either HTML or ASCX files ): IMG SRC, TD BACKGROUND,
SCRIPT SRC. It will also manage the relative paths for the following style sheet (
CSS ) tag: BACKGROUND-IMAGE:URL().

So I guess it should work, or the text is not completely clear... And should be something like:
It will also manage the relative paths for the following internal CSS style sheet  tag (not for inline styles): BACKGROUND-IMAGE:URL()
