Does anyone know how to prevent Stylesheet editor in DNN 4.4.0 on SIte admin settings page from changing the format of the file as soon as I hit Save Style Sheet link?

I change this:

/* background color for the content part of the pages */
body {
background-color: #175641;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-left: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
}

to this:

/* background color for the content part of the pages */
body {
     background-color: #175641;
     margin-top: 0px;
     margin-left: 0px;
     margin-right: 0px;
     margin-bottom: 20px;
}

and as soon as I click on Save Style Sheet I am back to square one. Anyone please?

This might be caused by the new whitespace filter, a new performance enhancement which is enabled by default.

Sounds like it might. Doesn't change my question though. How do I stop it from doing that?

I found this in host settings/compression/whitespace filter: (?<=[^])\t{2,}|(?<=[>])\s{2,}(?=[<])|(?<=[>])\s{2,11}(?=[<])|(?=[\n])\s{2,}

Anyone know where this is explained? I can't find it in documentation. Would deleting this disable the filter or will I break something?

Rather than deleting all the settings for it, just go to Host Settings, Advanced Settings, Performance Settings and untick the whitespace filter box.
